Design and delivery of education in Africa

Our work with Camfed goes back to 2013 and the initial development of the Better World Programme, a groundbreaking wellbeing curriculum that has now been delivered to more than half a million young people across Africa. We continue to work with Camfed on the development of qualifications for their award-winning Learner Guide programme, a programme we helped to design and deliver.

“Our CAMA network has been privileged to work with Jim Playfoot since 2013 when we launched the My Better World Learner Guide Programme. Working together with Pearson Education, Jim helped us to develop the My Better World Guidebook and the training curriculum for Core Trainers and Learner Guides. He also played a key role in training the Core Trainers in Zimbabwe in 2013 and in Ghana in 2014.

Jim’s work didn’t end here, as he continued to support our programme, playing a key role in designing a qualification for the programme that was accredited by Pearson Education. His keen support has seen us grow further and broaden our qualification to young women engaged in community service, transforming the narrative of poor rural communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. His commitment to quality is unbeatable and he is relentless in finding a solution to any challenge. Please carry on Jim!”
