Employer Engagement in Libya: Challenges & Recommendations
This document presents a set of reflections on the education landscape in Libya just prior to events of the Arab Spring. The document gives particular focus to technical and vocational education and the challenges around employer engagement. This piece was written in response to an event held in Tripoli in January 2011 and co-hosted by the Libyan Ministry of Education and the British Council.
Immersion Equals Engagement: Lessons from the REPLAY Serious Game Project
This presentation will be given at the inaugural Games for Health Europe conference in Amsterdam at the end of October 2011. It will explore what constitutes a successful serious game, how the ‘serious’ objectives of the game interact with the ‘play’ elements and what the implications are for future serious game development within both the education and health fields.
