White Loop was established in 2001 by brothers Henry and Jim Playfoot. Over the last 10 years, we have worked with numerous clients and partners from across the public, commercial and third sectors providing research and stakeholder engagement services, communications consultancy, digital design and technology development.
We have consistently been driven by three guiding principles:
Education and learning have, over time, become our focus and passion. Inspired partly by our groundbreaking research work on the Effective Education for Employment project, we began to connect with the emerging global narratives around what and how we learn and, alongside this, to explore the impact that technology can have on within an educational context.
As a result, we are now focussed predominantly on research, engagement and consultancy around the future of learning. It is what we understand best and what we care about most. We have established a powerful network of friends, advisors and peers with whom we collaborate. We are looking to drive the agenda, not follow it and are active participants in addressing what we consider to be the most important of all questions: how do we improve education for every learner?
In June 2011, we launched Stealth Education as a way of turning our knowlegde and ideas into practical tools and technologies that help people learn.
We are also co-founders of the Creative Network, a not-for-profit which generates ideas for positive social change.
